Do you offer appointments outside of business hours? What if I am experiencing a crisis?

In the event of a crisis, you may be able to arrange for an emergency appointment outside of business hours, by calling your doctor or therapist on their mobile telephone.

First and foremost, if you are feeling unsafe or are experiencing an emergency, dial 911 or go to the nearest emergency department.

How can I contact my doctor if I am in a crisis?

If you are not experiencing an emergency but need to speak to your doctor right away, please call our main office number (301-984-9791) and follow Option 2 to reach your doctors’ direct voicemail. This option will allow you to either leave a voicemail, which your doctor or a staff member will return, or provide you with specific information on how to get in touch with your doctor for urgent matters (for instance, some of our doctors make their cell phone number available so patients can text them. Please note: Your treating doctor is the only medical professional from our office who may give you medical advice during a time of crisis. Our administrative front office phone line and email account are checked during weekday business hours, Monday-Friday from 9am-5pm. If you are experiencing a crisis or urgent matter outside of these times, please refer to the steps above, rather than leaving a message for our front office staff.
